After a very full trip to Paris, I am home! It is never an easy transition and it feels a bit like reverse culture shock. I wrote a post about the hardest part about coming home if you want to read here.

I was pitched for a project after I returned home and it would be a DREAM job opportunity. I am not sharing details because I am still waiting to hear back. But, I do believe in putting out in the universe what you want. Fingers crossed and please send good energy my way. In June, it will be 10 years since I lost my job and this would be a great way to celebrate.

I joined Corey Frye for a cafĆ© chat on my first day in Paris. This is the video on Youtube if you want to take a look. We had a great time together and thank you for all of those who joined in!

Paris Without People by Messy Nessy Chic. I love photographing empty Paris before the city wakes up but this is very unique.

I purchased this pink skirt since it was the perfect shade and skirts were EVERYTHING on the streets of Paris. I will share more about this soon. But since these were selling out fast, I had to snag one.

Caudalie Paris is having a Friends and Family Sale. I had a facial here and picked up a few things to add to my beauty routine. You can see my favorites here and save 20% on everything until May 1.

I bought this serum along with a few other great products while I was in Paris.

Margeaux Brasserie in Chicago has introduced Mondays at Margeaux. Each Monday, there is a set menu of 3 courses for $35. I joined them for a meal this week and it was SO good. Don’t miss out on the duck wings and the Lyonnaise Salad.

Why Restaurants Have Become So Loud and How to Fight Back. This is my biggest complaint! I hate going out to noisy restaurants when I can’t hear my friends. I had this experience at a bar in Paris and I was immediately turned off and wanted to leave.

I got a refresh on my color and my bangs trimmed. I am ready for Summer if only the weather felt the same way in Chicago. I am still wearing my Winter coat.
