Links I Love Week 11: Year 2025

Luxembourg Gardens Paris Spring March

The last few days were about catching up at home and snuggling with Henri. I was able to jump into editing photographs from last week in Paris. While on the road, I back everything up to my laptop. Editing is done on my desktop at home, where everything is much larger. I love going through the trip photos and seeing what I have shot over the past week. The weather was mixed, but we had some incredible light from my hotel balcony in the early morning.

Some exciting news is that we will finally be in presale mode for the book this week! Paris Every Day will be published on October 14. The book cover and link will be coming to your inbox soon.

Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love.

Cafe de la Marie Paris. Daily life in Paris

I had this conversation this week in Paris. Do we age steadily or in bursts?

If your flight gets canceled. How to get compensated.

One of my favorite stories of the week is a personal one. A little back story about the woman who hosted my friend and photographer Yulia to come to the United States from Ukraine. I am so grateful for Tali and everything she has done for Yulia and other families from Ukraine. Yulia is who shoots my photographs in Chicago. She has become a friend over the past year.

My Monica Vinader code is back. Some of my favorites include this heart necklace, this bracelet, and these earrings. You get 20% off with REBECCAPMV

Agnès b, the shop that changed what we wear. (cool and totally Parisian)

Frame is running their Friends and Family sale for 25% off. I love their jeans and this is a great time to grab a pair for spring. The Sleek Straight is a favorite style of mine. (27 fits better than 28) I also just got the Reboot Crop. (28 is what I wear in this style.) The brand gifted this pair to me, and I packed them for Paris. Cropped denim is very much in style in Paris right now. They were perfect with a pair of flats.

Florence and Pisa are on alert as flooding hits Italy. Florence was where I studied abroad in college and my first love.

This bag is going to be everywhere this spring! The RED is so good.

stawberries Paris

(These strawberries were purchased at the market last weekend, and they were life-changing. My only regret was not buying more.)

The horse girl trend continues

Freaky Friday 2 is coming. Everything you need to know, plus you may want to watch Freaky Friday after hearing the news.

LOVE the colors in this skirt, and it is machine washable!

Want to take the pain out of planning meals? Try this! My friends and husband know that I recently did this for our household. It was a lot of fun, and we got out of a meal rut.

Sézane launches its spring accessories this Sunday, and I have my eye on this chocolate brown bag, which has already sold out. I created an alert.

24 essential French dishes via Food and Wine

Europe’s travel entry rule has been postponed until 2026. Here is what you need to know. This has been a hot topic in my DMs

The 25 shoes and bags that transformed fashion. Loved this article! It would also be great to have it in print as a coffee table book.

I am eyeing this mixed-media shirt collar maxi dress in green. So cute! The navy variation is also beautiful. See more new arrivals from this brand here.

I always gravitate towards the same style of sunglasses. These have my name written all over them!

This week’s best sellers include the nail polish I am currently wearing. It is one of the hot trends in Paris right now.

This week's best sellers

The Madewell sale is on now. 25% off almost everything! I am in love with this dress and this woven tote. See more of my favorites below.

After my hotel stay in Paris this past week, I wondered how the star rating worked for France. This article breaks it down.

Two new Demi flat styles to try following the trends of the season. The denim Demi and the woven Demi. I wear an 8.5 in these shoes and the woven Demi flat is surprisingly very comfortable.

The ultimate men’s playbook of style do’s and absolute dont’s via WSJ sent in from my husband.

I picked up a few beauty finds at the Pharmacie in Paris. This cream has a cult reputation for a reason. The following day, my skin instantly felt smoother. I also bought the Retinal-like cream

Purim was technically this past week, but I haven’t made Hamantaschen yet. This is my go to recipe! I am Team Apricot all the way.

Here are two fun Chicago stories for you. My husband and I love grabbing a pizza at MiddleBrow for date nights. (Bonus: you can now reserve a table, and their patio is dog-friendly) Their flavors and pizza combinations are always so creative, with fun seasonal twists.  We need to check out the Beachwater Bagels on a Saturday.

Years ago, my next-door neighbor casually mentioned that he was opening a new restaurant called Galit. Fast forward a few years, and it is one of the best restaurants in Chicago. I am so proud of him! Another fun date night spot is the bar for happy hour. They just opened an all day café called YaYa next door. Henri and I popped in for a cookie and pastry on opening week. The lines are LONG due to high demand. We can’t wait to stop by again.

The Elemis Friends and Family sale is on with code FF25. I love their cleansing balm and pack it in my Cadence travel set for on the go. The Lavender Toner is on my list to try next. *Spend over $145 and get a free gift worth $109.

Speaking of Cadence. I love it so much, and it worked so well for Paris. I packed the whole set for Colorado. It is a great way to keep all my favorite beauty products ready for each trip. I want The Parcel next.

Merit has something new hitting the site on 3/18. I had a chance to try out their lipgloss early and I am a fan.

  1. When mentioning the evolution of eating in the U.S. and the restaurant Chez Panisse in Berkeley, it it is essential not only to mention Alice Waters but the man, Jeremiah Tower, who was the Chef and menu designer there for several years. He eventually moved to San Francisco when he opened his restaurant Stars. His is a great biography.
