Week 44 Links I Love: Year 2026

We officially turned our clocks back this Saturday. I have been doing some early morning workouts, and it is going to be harder to get out while it is still dark. I do love the next two months as the weather changes and we go into the holiday season. This is one of my favorite times of the year.
Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love.
This week, I launched The Francophile Gift Guide. There are six categories: Francophile, book lover, homebody, traveler, cook, and hostess. It was a lot of fun to put together. I hope you enjoy reading and shopping through it.
I loved this Natalie Portman interview. She just welcomed her third child. It is a long read but a good one!
In Paris, I met David Lebovitz for our last event with Staub. This is the rice pudding with salted butter caramel. It was delicious!
Sezane doesn’t do sales, but occasionally they have codes! Through Saturday night, October 31, you can use nightfall or midnight. If you shop the site, there will be a $20 off pop up with one of these or another code. Shh. I don’t know if I am supposed to advertise this. It is on orders $100 or more.
Why your allergies feel so much worse than they used to? I sneeze as I type this.
I love the idea of a soup swap. Would you do it?
NYC is getting a Dishoom. This London Indian restaurant is a hot spot.
Why you should shrink your plans instead of cancel them.
These red pants would be so fun to style for the holidays and the next few months!
This Week’s best sellers include the Anthropologie City Mug (always a hit), an incredible pair of flats under $100, a $50 cashmere sweater from Nordstrom Rack, my Varley jacket I wear on repeat, and the Alex Mill bag I carry everywhere.

Lupin is back for season 4?! This was the news I needed this week. I have been quickly making my way through Nobody Wants This Season 3. It has been laugh-out-loud funny, and of course there were tears. One of my favorite characters is the mother-in-law.
My sister and I love peppermint and go nuts for the peppermint bark every year. I just saw this instead, and I may have to order it for the holidays.
David Lebovitz is sharing new cookbooks this fall, and I wish I could add them all to my cart and check out.
I own both the Chelsea boot from Margaux and the Wells boot; this is the difference. This post explains what sets them apart. I wore the Wells boot to the farmers’ market in the rain this weekend, and they were perfect.
Nobody wanted Montague street, now everyone does.

John Goodman is back with Claire Danes in Season Two of The Beast in Me.
How to style boots for your fall outfits
Make sure to restock your sunscreen. I use sunscreen daily even in the winter. EltaMD is my sunscreen of choice per my dermatologist’s recommendation. I also keep a mini in my Alex Mill tote for when I am out with Henri and need to reapply.
The Portaluppi is the new “it” bathroom. I saw this in Paris. Slowly warming up to the idea.
A renovated house on Île de Ré in Architectural Digest France.
The seven fall skirt trends that are everywhere. I just bought this one.
How to style low-, mid-, and high-rise jeans right now. It is all over the place right now.
20 extraordinary shops worth traveling for
Cuyana is having a private sale, and it is perfect if you are looking for a new bag or holiday gifts.
December 12 marks the start of the ice skating season at Grand Palais. You can see the theme here and reserve your tickets. It is kid-friendly during the day and a disco at night. I did it a few years ago, and it still brings a smile to my face. Don’t bring an expensive camera on the ice! I quickly got off the ice with mine and soaked it all in.
In the mood for a velvet blazer? This one is on major sale from Vince. I have one from a few yeas ago from Mango and I wear it every holiday season.
8 fresh ways to wear corduroy. I am very into this right now and just ordered a pair in navy. REBECCAP15 gets you 15% off.
I recently spotted a stylish girl walking into school with this Gerard Darel bag. If you know the story, in the 90’s this was THE bag that girls kept stealing from their mom’s for school. It is the hot bag again in Paris. It was fun to spot someone styling and wearing it in Chicago. She may have influenced me to try the larger style again in either chocolate or black.
Andie MacDowell on the joy of aging and womanhood. Yes!!
Fall makeup trends worth trying. Smokey neutrals and minimal complexion.
The long life of the “snacking occasion” eating habits have shifted. This was so interesting. Gifted via NYT
What Mel Robbins thinks of Nobody Wants This, “Make Them” Theory
A little bit bistro, a little bit wild. This Chicago French restaurant made the NYT.
