Francophile Gift Guide 2026

When it comes to gift-giving, I love giving something personal. A book, a favorite tea, something that brings back memories of a trip, a framed photograph, or something homemade. You know I love to bake! The best gift doesn’t have to be expensive. A gift from the heart can mean so much.
This year, I’ve gathered my favorite Francophile gifts into one guide, with ideas for the fashion lover, cook, hostess, homebody, beauty lover, book lover, and traveler. You’ll find new discoveries from this year alongside tried-and-true favorites I can’t stop talking about, all for good reason. I hope this helps you find the right gift for the people on your list, and perhaps a little something for yourself along the way.

What exactly is a Francophile?
A Francophile is someone who loves France and all things French: the language, the food, the fashion, the art of living. My husband had never heard the term before we started dating, and now it comes up in our conversations all the time. He did marry a Francophile, after all, and slowly but surely, he’s learning to love all things French too.

Gifts For the Fashion Lover

Another fun category to create a gift guide for. There are so many fabulous French brands I have discovered recently. There are a lot of bags and scarves in this mixup and jewelry. Accessories make great gifts and the fashionista can find their own way to style these pieces.
Majestic Filatures turtleneck: $145. One of the brands I can’t shut up about. I discovered Majestic Filatures last year with one favorite t-shirt, and I have been hooked ever since. The fabrics are the softest, and I have a drawer full of them. I am slowly collecting each color. Shop the stores in Paris if you get the chance. For size reference, I am usually a M since I am bustier and take a 3.

Jewelry and Bags for the French Fashion Lover
Monica Vinader is a British Brand and a favorite for years. These 18 K gold stud earrings are beautiful and could make a great stocking stuffer.
David Yurman petite X ring. Similar to the one I wear on my right hand. I am often asked for the link. You can stack them, and I plan on adding more.

Rue de Verneuil Bag in chocolate brown. This brand is quickly growing and has been on my radar for over a year. I bought my first bag in January in Paris and love their styles and colors. They launch winter and summer collections. I have my eye on the Burgundy tote.
Longchamp is a classic brand known for its iconic tote bag that was huge in the early 2000s and is back. I love the updated colors. Plus, the Longchamp silk scarves are so French and come in a variety of colors and patterns. You can wrap the headband scarves around bag handles for an updated look like I did last summer or wear them in your hair or around your neck.
Francophile Gift Ideas for the Fashion Lover

I spotted this Balzac red tote in Paris recently and knew it belonged in the gift guide.
Vanessa Bruno has been on my radar for years. It is a French brand you see on Parisian women, and I picked a classic bag for the Francophile gift guide.
I own this Ritz Paris hat in multiple colors. REBECCAP15 gets you 15% off.

The Demi Margaux flats are a classic French ballet flat at a fraction of the price of designer brands. I have owned mine for six years now and love them. They are an addiction, and I have them in multiple colors now.

Soeur isn’t as well known as some of the other French brands on the list, but it should be on your radar. You can never go wrong with a French scarf. I have been using this bag on repeat. It is so good and very on trend. The S monogram on the outside of the bags and wallets is a brand signature.
Gerard Darel is an older brand that is back and on fire right now! Francophiles will want to carry this brand around. The 24H bag is the one you are seeing on everyone, everywhere right now. I haven’t gotten into the larger bag just yet and prefer the 12H. I have it in two colors and could collect more! Add an Eiffel Tower charm to your bag for a little Parisian flair.

Don’t sleep on Sézane jewelry. I love their bracelet stacks and keep adding to my collection as they release new ones. Go bold with these earrings.

Also, from Sézane, the Lou bag is a favorite. It sells out often, so grab it early if you can.
Polène is a Parisian favorite. There are two stores in Paris, along with a Bon Marché location. This is the bag I have seen carried most often lately in Paris. It is also on my wish list.
Holiday Gift Ideas For the Beauty Lover

French beauty has a cult following right now, and there are a lot of great brands that are classics and new to the scene to add to any Christmas stocking or under the tree this year. This is one of my favorite categories for gift guides.
Mimetique is a new clean beauty brand that should be on your radar. I love the face oil and it earns a space in my beauty cabinet. Skin restore is great for dry dehydrated skin. The duo would make a Francophile beauty lover jump for joy. Skincloud is a nourishing 3-in-1 cleanser that cleans without drying your skin.
One of the most talked about beauty items right now is Le Balm created by a French pharmacist. You can use it as a serum, under-eye cream, night cream, lip balm, and more.
La Violette lipstick and balm. You can’t get more French than this.
French Beauty Gift Ideas
Can it be a Francophile gift guide by me without a lip twist from Sisley? I wouldn’t dare. This is the color I have been loving lately.
Sézane’s perfume is a best seller for a reason. Each Sézane package is spritzed with the signature fragrance. My sister loves the scent, and it is a gift I love to give her. They just changed the bottle and branding, but kept the same scent.
La Bonne Brosse the full size version. There are so many fun colors; you won’t want to put this away in a drawer. I have the #3 and love it.
L’Occitane hand cream. A classic for a reason. This sits on my desk, and I just gifted one to Haley, who works for me. Also, a mini one makes a great stocking stuffer.
Compagnie de Provence is a French brand that has been around for years. You can find it all over Paris, and it makes hand washing a joy with all the great smells. The glass jar and presentation make it a luxury beauty gift a Francophile will love.
For the holidays, I love the scent of pine, and Diptyque does it right.
Another French candle brand, Cire Trudon, has a cult following for a reason. Their candles carry signature scents that last for hours. The Cire Trudon holiday candle is a limited-edition woodsy smell. I bought my first candle in Paris earlier this year and had Paris Every Day etched on the back.
Diptyque candle minis are great to break up into individual candles with matches for stocking stuffers. I love adding matchbooks to candles to make them special and unique. My husband and I collect them.
French Beauty Gift Ideas
Two great blushes that aren’t French, but are clean brands that give the perfect rosy cheek flush. I love Speakeasy by Soshe and Westman Atelier
The Left Bank Parisian pharmacies are filled with hair clips and other French hair pins in a variety of colors and tortoise styles that always make me swoon. Machete does a great job with these styles and is available in the US.
Sisley is a favorite French beauty brand of mine, and this Black Rose Mask is a splurge but so good. It smells incredible and plumps your skin. Great for travel too.
Clarins also makes a Cryo Flash mask that is more affordable than Sisley and gives a similar result. Once you put it on, you feel it working with the cooling feeling. This is one of the Everyday Parisian readers’ favorites year after year for a reason.
Gift Ideas For the Cook

My love language is cooking and baking so this particular section was a joy to put together. I always think a gift with something homemade, written or baked makes it so much more personal. When it comes to gifting this year, don’t think you need to break the bank to give a good gift. Put thought into it and make it personal to the recipient.
David Lebovitz revised his great chocolate book. If you aren’t a fan of his yet, you will be after this book. He is a ton of fun to follow on social and very sweet when I met him earlier this year in Paris.
Would this even be a gift guide for the cook without Staub? I am a fan for life, and you will too after your first Staub piece. This piece is a great introduction to the brand if you think the Dutch oven is out of your price range. It makes the best rice; I also use it to reheat soups and make pasta. I rarely use a microwave and prefer stovetop cooking instead.
Laguiole steak knives are an investment you won’t regret. We have them in black and have owned them for years. The colors add a fun pop to your table setting.
Francophile Gift Ideas for the Cook and Baker
Sabre flatware is something I have wanted for years and I finally started collecting pieces this January. A few spoons and I immediately wanted more. We now own the flatware in green. I am eyeing serving pieces in the tortoise but they were sold out in Paris for the remainder of the year. Available through Tuckernuck and Serena and Lily.
Embroidered napkins from Sézane. This was the year I found my grandmother’s tablecloth, napkins, and champagne glasses. A gift I forgot I had tucked away. Sézane offers similar ones that are perfect for entertaining. An embroidered tablecloth to complete the look.I love to cook for family meals and holidays, and dressing the table is now something that brings me joy too.
This Sézane bowl is a favorite and is filled with a rotation of seasonal fruit or lemons and limes. You can also use it as a salad bowl.
The possibilities are endless with these mini Dutch ovens from Staub. I have used them to serve soup. Now, I want a few more to decorate the table for entertaining.
I will find every excuse to make a bread in this loaf pan from banana bread, lemon loaf, and pumpkin bread. It is a year round addition a cook would love to have in their kitchen.

Fleur de Sel from France elevates just about everything. You can’t go wrong with this as a gift. We always have one on the kitchen counter.
Can you ever have enough tea towels? I think not. This one from Sur la Table is adorable. You can make a whole gift set with the Fleur de Sel.
Eiffel Tower cocktail picks. Can you imagine these in a martini glass?
Duralex glass tumblers in a color make any table or dinner more fun. On one of my girls trips to Paris, I think we all ordered a set after discovering them at a Parisian cafe. Such a fun memory of a great trip.
For the Hostess

Earlier this year, a brand sent me an Earlywood spoon and I have been obsessed ever since. I found a use for it every day with my cooking until I decided to buy a few more because one was always in the dishwasher. I love supporting this brand and hope you will love them too!
Cherry Red Sabre Entertaining Set. It comes in a variety of colors. The red feels festive. Sabre is another brand I started buying this year and couldn’t be more French. In Paris, you can select the colors and styles you want in the store. They have so many options, it can feel overwhelming. This makes a great gift especially if you know the colors they love.
Bon Appetit Salad Plate $28. There are a few colors to choose from. I love adding a baked good to any dish to make it personal.
Staub Petite French Oven $149. You will love this for rice, soups, and pasta. I bought this before my Staub factory tour and I use it all the time. Blog readers always chime in how much they love this piece in their own kitchen.
Christmas Tree Ornament Set Paris $120. These always sell out each year, grab them early. You could give one to different people and break up the set.
Evolve Together Soap and Lotion Set $115. Not French, but Parisian to have indulgent soap in the bathroom. This is a favorite of mine and the scent is called Monaco.
Hand cream also by Evolve Together in a different scent. Perfect for at the desk or by the door. I always have multiple hand creams.
Wine and Travel France by Assouline. A gift that was given to my husband and sits on our coffee table.
Holiday Favorites for The Hostess
Bon Appetit linen tea towels. I recently bought these for our kitchen and thought they would make a great hostess gift.
Boarderie cheese and charcuterie board. We recently got one of these as a gift from the brand and it was a huge hit over football. I text my family and told them I am ordering this for the holidays. If you are in Chicago, you can shop local with Maison Pasquale.
Maison du Chocolat is the perfect Parisian gift box. I was given a huge set of the chocolates last year and I was in heaven nibbling away each day. In Chicago, I love Violet Flame. The toffee is out of this world good and how amazing does this chocolate bark look?

Mariage Frères Christmas tea from my friends at POSH. Order directly from them and support a small business this holiday season. They also have super cute ornaments in their holiday section.
For the Homebody

Aesop is Australian, but I first discovered it in Paris. I love the packaging and scents. My husband brought me back the hand cream after a trip to Sydney. This one sits on my nightstand.
Palais des Thés is a brand widely served in Paris at different cafes and hotels. I am happy to offer tea and coffee to anyone who pops over to our home. This set offers a good variety and lets your guest choose what they love most.
I’ve owned the Degrenne teapot for over six years. It becomes a permanent fixture on our counter for the six months Chicago is cold. The teapot is an investment but worthwhile and makes a great gift for the tea lover. I throw it in the dishwasher at the end of the day.
Eberjey pajamas are so cute and comfortable. I bought a pair for Paris in chocolate brown for the Staub trip, and I have been hooked ever since. Size small fits me best. The brand was so sweet and reached out to gift a few pairs for my family. My sister, sister-in-law, and mom will all be wearing these for the holidays.

Gift Ideas for the Homebody
This electric kettle transports you to a Paris hotel room. I saw these on the coffee stations at my hotels all year long, and finally ordered one for home. We have the classic black; it comes in many colors. Use for tea or coffee pour-overs.
I put my coffee beans in the Fellow airtight canister that everyone has been asking about on our coffee bar. My husband requested his own canister.
When I am not in Paris or visiting family, I love being home. I am not ashamed to admit how much of a homebody I am. This Negative set is one of my favorites. The brand gifted me this set, and the color is perfection. Last year, my brother-in-law gifted my sister the same set for the holidays in cream, and it has since become a favorite gift. My sister and I match when we are together.

Negative Club Pullover | Club Jogger Pants. I wear a M in both.
Gift Ideas To Make Your Bedroom Cozy
Luxury Parisian hotels take personalization to the next level. It hasn’t happened to me during any of my hotel stays, but I have seen others post about their monogrammed pillowcases. I have been searching this year to add this to our bed, and I finally found Boll & Branch; they just rolled out their signature hemmed pillowcases.
At the end of the bed for Henri, we always have a blanket, and we change it out seasonally. Currently, we have this one also from Boll and Branch. The price point is great, and it makes a great nap blanket. $99
I have always wanted a hotel-style bed at home. We have slowly invested in different layers of our bed down to the pillows. Great sheets and a duvet cover are investments. I really love this pillow from Helix, and I want to order some for my family in Florida, so we have them on our travels.
For The Everything Shower Before Jumping into Clean Sheets
Flamingo Estates landed on my radar last year when a friend sent us a gift box full of a few items. I fell in love with their Fig scent this year and knew it belonged in my gift guide. The fig soap is a favorite, and I am almost out, so I’m adding it to my own wish list. Plus, the candle smells incredible in our kitchen.
Ursa Major is a favorite clean beauty brand I have used and loved for years. The Golden Body serum is a favorite, especially in the winter. Add in the dry brush for lymphatic drainage. This little duo makes a great clean beauty gift.
For the Book Lover

Our bookshelves and coffee table are filled with books, especially with a Paris theme. Some of the books on the list are classics, and others are newly released this year and may not be in your Francophile book lover’s library yet.

Forever Paris, forever a fan of Marin Montagut. For the Parisian at heart.
Don’t Be a Tourist by The Messy Nessy Chic Guide. Vanessa is full of valuable tips and hidden gems in Paris. She introduced me to one of my favorite bars in Paris after meeting her earlier this year.
Joie: A Parisian’s Guide to Celebrating The Good Life. I love Ajiri’s viewpoint on life and her accompanying Substack.
I loved The Paris Wife by Paula McLain, which tells the story of Hemingway’s first wife, Hadley, and their life in Chicago and Paris. It’s a classic. This year, Paula and I teamed up for two book events celebrating her new novel, Skylark, January’s Good Morning America Book Club selection. Set in Paris across two time periods, 1660s and the Nazi occupation of the 1940s, the novel follows two brave, resilient women and their stories.

For the Traveler
As a travel photographer and blogger, I am on the road often. These are my tried-and-true favorite travel accessories and items I love and cannot live without. My personal gift recommendations for the traveler this holiday season.

Slip Sleep Mask. I cannot sleep without a sleep mask when traveling, and now the whole family is fans even at home. Quince also makes a similar, more affordable option. I do find the Quince one a bit looser around the head and harder to fit small heads.
Roz haircare products were one of my favorite discoveries from last year. Now, it is the only product I use for shampoo and conditioner. I keep the travel set in my bag for every trip and refill with the larger ones in between, so I am never without.
The Therabody depuffing wand was a product I was on the fence about, and someone DM’d me to convince me I needed it. Now, I only regret not buying it sooner. The hot/cold option is a game changer and small enough to fit in your travel bag. It charges quickly and holds for a while. I use the cold function before shoot days and meetings. Buy it on sale, and you won’t regret it.
Francophile Traveler Gift Ideas
Another under-eye game changer is these eye masks from YISE Beauty. I also keep them in my travel kit. On a shoot day in Chicago, I walk Henri in them, and neighbors spot me. It always gives us a giggle. On the road, I wear these while I drink coffee and check emails.
Cashmere ballet slippers. Small enough to throw in your suitcase without taking up room. For hotels and apartment rentals, I love to have my own slippers. If you have ever seen my stories, you know all my outfits are paired with slippers in front of the mirror. We keep shoes by the door a habit ingrained from my grandparents. Each year, we would get a new pair for their house.
Cuyana Zippered Pouch $128. I bought this a few years ago in my signature red, and it goes everywhere with me. It holds my vitamins, lip balm, sunscreen, pain reliever, gum, and face wipes. A stylish and effective carry-all for life on the road. I restock it in between trips, and it comes in so many great colors.

Francophile Gift Ideas for The Traveler Who Flies Often
Bose Noise Canceling Headphones. These were a splurge last year; I bought them on sale. Immediately, my husband made fun of me for how large they were compared to my airpods. The minute I left the room to shower, he stole mine. He got a pair for the holidays in a different color, and now we each have them. I can’t travel without them and listen to the Calm app to fall asleep.
ME+EM travel scarf. Another splurge from last year that I have no regrets about. For Paris and cold weather cities, this is a must. I wore this in January, and it was stylish and warm. Perfect for the plane, going out, and being on the move in the city. Mine is grey; this year’s is on trend with a chocolate reversible check print I love, and I’m a little jealous of the update.
Cuyana Travel Wallet $198. I finally upgraded my passport holder to this one from Cuyana and love it. Mine is the perfect pop of red (coming back in stock soon). They have a ton of color options. It is one of the most popular items you have bought all year.
Away Flex Carry-on $378. This is an investment piece, but one you will have for a long time. My husband and I have been Away customers for years, and now my whole family has them. For my dad, it is such a relief to have four wheels that move through the airport well. He is so happy with his suitcase; he tells me every time he travels. The Flex option I am recommending is great if you want to bring a carry-on for Paris and check it on the way home. You can expand it for a few more extra inches of packing room.
Gift Ideas for the Traveler Always on The Road
Cuyana Travel Cases $178. These were a gift to myself for the blog’s 10-year anniversary in the prettiest blue. I pack all of my little makeup and skincare essentials in here for the road. Even on the shortest trips, these come in handy so I can bring all my favorites. You can monogram this too.
Away Suitcase Luggage Tag $38. Get the French flag, or put your initials on it in French flag colors. This is a great little gift for someone who loves France or is headed on an international trip soon.
La Bonne Brosse Hairbrush $155. This has been one of my favorite purchases of the year and is perfect for the Francophile who is on the road. The smaller brush is great for your purse or touch-ups on the go. You want to use this on dry hair only.
Travel Journal $38 from Papier. I had a journal when I studied abroad and wrote in it daily about all my adventures. It was my favorite gift before I left on my trip. Even if you aren’t writing in it daily, you can add in your favorite memories, restaurants, and stories. You can monogram it for a personal touch.

Paris Every Day $50. My coffee table book filled with photographs of Paris from each season. Take a visual journey to Paris one season at a time. Signed copies are available.

I love your gift guide this year. I think it is the best one you have published. I like the complete guide at one time. I noted several items I plan to take a second look at later this week. Thank you for the great ideas.
Can you publish an addendum with a few guy ideas (loungewear, pajamas, slippers, etc)? Thanks again.
