I had a request for easy recipes and this one couldn’t be easier. Plus, it tastes so good! You need fresh basil and the rest are pantry items. If you have an outdoor garden, this is a perfect way to use up some of your basil. You can make this and freeze it for the colder months. Pesto is super easy to freeze in ice cube trays.
I have made this multiple times during quarantine and it has become one of my kitchen staple recipes.
I use my Cuisinart to mix everything together and it works so well. The smell is heavenly mixed with basil and garlic. I love to throw the pesto on tortellini and eat it cold the next day or toss with fresh pasta and chicken for dinner.
