Links I Love Week 4

The surprise of Henri is finally out, and I am adjusting to life with a puppy! It has been a lot of fun having him around. It has been a long time since I had a dog and I forgot how much I love having one. I really appreciate all of your encouragement, support, and love for this little guy. ❤️

I am not sure if I mentioned that I was doing Dry January. For those of you who are curious about what Dry January is and the health benefits, this is a great post. I am in the home stretch and I feel great. I also gave up my morning coffee and switched it for green tea.

I was influenced by my friend Meghan of Wit and Whimsy to purchase these pimple patches. I am lucky that zits don’t happen often, but when they do I haven’t had a spot treatment that works. I am happy to have these on hand just in case hormones strike my chin.

There is a new hotel opening up in Versailles and it looks incredible. This is on my wish list for when travel resumes again.

I bought Henri a new and much bigger dog bed for him to grow into. I am well aware that his first bed is a bit too small for him. This one is monogrammed with his name and I can’t wait for it to arrive. It shipped fast!

Kristen Hannah is one of my favorite authors for writing “The Nightingale” I am on her mailing list and she announced, “The Four Winds” coming out in February along with the debut of Firefly Lane and adaptation of her book on Netflix. It is something exciting to look forward to. If you haven’t read any of her books, I highly recommend them.

  1. I live in Normandy, in the Pays d’Auge, for 6 months each year. Because of Covid we couldn’t get back and it’s been hard. I miss the food, the life the beautiful countryside, Trouville, and the 90 min. train trip to Paris.
Our cocker spaniel travels with us and he is a good little traveller. I just hope we can back this year because I miss my house, too.

    • Hi Judy,

I am so sorry you can’t get back to Trouville. I too miss Paris. It has been over a year since I have been able to travel. You are very lucky to have a sweet cocker spaniel that travels with you.

I hope you can get back soon.

      Stay safe xo
      Rebecca
