Day Trip To London and High Tea at The Goring

This Spring my friend Jennifer was traveling to London for work and we decided to meet up while I was in Paris. We have known each other from Chicago for years and have always discussed traveling somewhere together so this was a good opportunity. I took the Chunnel over to meet Jennifer and we spent the morning exploring and making stops for coffee and sweets.

We had a perfect spot right in the middle of the room with the most beautiful light. The Goring took such good care of us making sure our tea cups were never empty and our bellies were full. They gave us seconds on whatever we wanted. We started with strawberries and cream since it was the start of strawberry season.

We had a fabulous time exploring London and stopping for an afternoon of laughter, sweet treats, bubbles, and tea at The Goring. Where is your favorite place for tea?
