Links I Love: November Week 3

This has officially been our fourth rainy weekend in a row. Yesterday was pretty miserable walking to the dance studio but I made it, unfortunately my red umbrella did not. I hate throwing things away but after being flipped inside out one too many times it was time to retire it. I spent the day working on a photo shoot and brainstorming goals for January 2018. The next few weeks are going to be pretty busy, so I have decided to push any extra projects to January.  I am really thinking on jumping on a plane back to Paris. I have already started looking into dates and tickets. When you work for yourself we don’t get company holiday parties or bonus checks so why not a trip to Paris?

For those of you in Chicago, I will be at the OOAK Show at the Merchandise Mart from December 6-10. Tickets are $15 but, you can attend for Free using these passes which allows you to bring a friend. Stop by and say bonjour at booth 2068.

Things I LOVE:

I just ordered these mugs for the shop and I am so happy they arrived in time for the Holidays. I love my coffee and croissants so it only made sense to drink coffee out of my own mugs. You purchase your own I Wish I Was in Paris Mug HERE

This week is mostly about beauty. I always love trying new products and I recently tried a heavier day cream that left me with a breakout which rarely happens. It could very well be stress but I am doing my best to get back to clear skin.

I am big on exfoliation which is key in helping my skincare to be absorbed and my makeup going on smoothly. I recently tried this Sisley Buffing Cream that I love. It is a bit strange coming off like an eraser and can make a mess so stay close to a sink. But I noticed a difference in my skin right away. I also was recommended to try Trish McEvoy Correct and Brighten Weekly Peel to help with the breakout. My skin is glowing. I will have to be extra careful in the sun this week in Florida.

I am a huge fan of the Sisley Mascara, and I swear with this brush it finds lashes I didn’t know I had. I have heard so many good things about the Dior mascara I just ordered it from Sephora. I also ordered the Dior primer. The two combined are less than the cost of one Sisley Mascara so I will report back and let you know what I think.

Now that the weather is so dry and cold I was happy to find more of my Caudalie lip conditioner in a bag under my sink. I swear by this and keep one in every bag. I bought a three pack in Paris earlier this year and I am so glad I did.
