Where to Buy French Antique Dishes Online

where to buy french dishes online

A few months ago, I ordered these plates from a seller in France. I bought a set of 6 assorted plates and I use them daily. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on these plates brighten my day. I remember a few years back, I saw an entire set of French antique dishes at a Brocante in the Marais that I wanted for a great price but there was no way to ship them home. Once I discovered this seller in France, I placed my order. Madame de la Maison followed up with an email of an assortment of 6 and once I approved them, she packed them up to send to me. It took a while for them to arrive, French/US post mixed with COVID delays. But once they arrived and were washed in the dishwasher, I have been using them daily. This is her assortment of antiques. Her inventory sells out quickly so I recommend signing up for her emails and jumping on something if you find an item you like. I had requests from readers on where I found them so I wanted to share in a blog post. I am also including a few Etsy shops that I found with my favorites included if you wanted something a little different.

  1. This is so cool. What a great way to bring a vintage piece or pieces into your home. On my first trip to Paris my Mom and I went to Les Puces market. I regret not buying anything but we were so overwhelmed by the offerings and unfortunately, also too intimidated to interact with vendors. It was a more of a spectator sport for us at the time 🙂 Since we won’t be returning anytime soon, I think I just may treat myself to something pretty. Never even considered something like this, thank you!

    • Thank you, Kristen! I wish I could bring it all home from Les Puces but I can never pack it or fit it in my suitcase. This is a fun and easy way to bring Paris home. I get so much joy out of using those plates.
