Links I Love Week 36: Year 2025

Luxembourg Gardens September

Hello September! My busy season has officially kicked off. As a solo entrepreneur, I am always responsible for the pace of my business. It feels like summer was also “busy” gearing up for the last 4 months of the year. We have calendars shipping, books shipping, and I leave for Paris on Monday. The mad dash to get orders to UPS before I leave is officially on. I stayed up late on Friday night packing calendars while watching TV. My goal is to get as many done as possible. Thank you so much for your patience!

I will share more details on Paris this week. It is a short trip with a very exciting meeting! My dad was even enthusiastic about this one.

Jcrew red sweater

This week, I worked with J.Crew to style some of their fall new arrivals. Henri crashed the shoot and stole the show.

Links I love are full of favorites this week! I’m glad people are back from their summer holidays and are writing quality pieces. Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love.

A first look at RH in Paris. I wouldn’t usually tie these two together, but the space looks stunning, with several spots to drink and eat. Not to mention the rooftop view is incredible, offering a stunning Eiffel Tower view. I plan to book and check it out next week.

This postcard from Paris sweatshirt from Boden is adorable. I would size up one size. It should sell out fast.

This new luxury train journey around France is a wine lover’s dream

Alyssa shared this book on her Instagram stories, and I immediately saved it and downloaded the audiobook—The Brain at Rest. I recommend listening to this one slowly.

How to Rekindle Your Love of Reading. Gifted via NYT. I have a stack of books to be read.

Loving the look of the Soeur Fall/Winter campaign. Thick knits and moody colors are getting me excited about the upcoming season. Use the code REBECCA10 for 10% off.

Chloe Malle is succeeding Anna Wintour at Vogue. Read all about here and I had no idea she was the daughter of Candice Bergen. Wild!

I am hosting an upcoming large family meal, which means I am starting to think about the menu and all the details. How cute is this pumpkin, Le Creuset?

What are electrolytes, and do you need them? I have been curious about this myself, and the article shed some light on it for me.

France has a planned strike on September 10. I will be visiting during this time. If you have a visit scheduled or know someone else who does, here is what to expect and the strikes planned for later in the month.

This banana bread sounds delicious, plus a quick way to brown unripe bananas if you have a craving for banana bread.

A heeled Mary Jane that is just perfection. Adding to my wish list.

Can creatine keep your brain sharp? Via Time. This was so interesting, as I recently brought it up to my doctor during my checkup.

This week’s best sellers. Margaux flats are a classic and so comfortable. This ME+EM shirt I love is still available in a few sizes.

Why is the staple of a crisp white shirt back? Or did it ever really leave? I have always worn one.

These two coats caught my eye this week. I am not ready for coat weather just yet, but these would make getting dressed more fun. A houndstooth coat, and this one in white or olive.

A woman adopts her dog’s late brother and sees the similarities between them. This is just the sweetest. I grew up with a German Shorthaired Pointer, and I cried at the video.

Anthropologie now has the Palais des Thé advent calendar. The season has begun. This is an affordable and great Advent calendar for the tea lover.

My day as an 80-year-old. What an age simulator taught me. Gifted via WSJ. As our parents age, it is important to understand how they see and navigate the world. Also, I have some older neighbors I adore, and I make sure to extend offers of help whenever I can.

I am not usually into matching workout sets, but I love this red. A bra and leggings for Pilates have now been added to my wish list.

National Treasures worth $11 million were stolen from a museum in France. Article sent in from my friend Kat.

Are skinny jeans out or back in? These cigarette jeans look just the same by a different name. I finally embraced my wider leg pants.

Was your passport lost or stolen on vacation? Here is how to replace it.

These container covers make me happy! I minimize the use of plastic as much as possible. These are like a shower cap for your bowls. I just used the green one for my Madeleine dough.

New egates could make TSA security checks even faster. See the upcoming changes.

Looking for a different Paris? Try these hotels on the Left Bank, via Afar. I personally love Le Grand Cayré Hotel.

I have had my eye on a Barbour coat for a while now. My husband bought me one as a gift a few years ago, but Chicago gets cold, and I need something a little warmer. The sizing runs small, so size up.
