It has been nice to be back in Chicago and get back into a routine. I love the weeks when I meal prep and grocery shop to have fresh and healthy options at home. There is no “back to school” when you are an adult but I always like to get a fresh set of pens and office supplies to start new again. I ordered a new desk and moved the location to the front room by a window. I can’t wait to see how the new space inspires my creativity. I put a Paris photo above the desk to make it feel like I have a view of the city from my window.

This Qantas video brought me to tears. Even if you have no ties to Australia, you will find this relatable. I was still crying 20 minutes later. Next weekend will be the first weekend I am with my mom, dad, sister, and kids under the same roof in 2 years! (as long as we stay healthy) the built-up emotions behind that are causing all the tears.
