Links I Love Week 15: Year 2025

Rebecca and Henri

It has been a great birthday weekend, celebrating with my husband and Henri. Typically, I have celebrated in Paris. This year, I wanted to be home with Henri and enjoy the weekend without traveling. It is also Passover this weekend, and being home makes it a little easier. My sister, mom, niece, and nephew arrive tomorrow—an added family bonus!

I am running an annual sale in The Print Shop for my birthday. Use the code BIRTHDAY for $10 off your order. We just relaunched the new site this week. I can’t wait to hear what you think! This includes The Paris Guide 2025 edition.

How to pack a suitcase the right way

For my husband’s birthday, I got him a few small things. We are planning a trip this summer, and that will be our joint birthday present. This shirt from Octobre, his favorite after shave lotion (it smells so good), and I framed one of his mom’s recipes for our kitchen. We went through and digitized her recipe box on an earlier trip this year, and this is one of his favorite recipes. I love that it is handwritten and has a touch of her in our kitchen.

I launched a new series on Substack called The Paris Edit! It has been on my list to write for a few months, and I finally kicked it off this April. I am so happy it has been received well, and I can’t wait to write another one in May.

I’m ordering these boat shoes for summer. I also have these black drivers that are so comfortable, and I always reach for them for walks with Henri. These cream pointe shoes with the buckle are adorable. Rothy’s has an outpost in Paris right now at Bon Marché, so they are also Parisian-approved. Comfort and cute!

I ordered this gauzy white shirt with matching pants for summer. Once we warm up, it will be a favorite. This floral dress is even better in person.

A Few Books I Preordered and Can’t-Wait to Read

Speaking of books, there are many great ones to preorder. I am a huge fan of Lindsay Eats recipes and saw on her site she has a cookbook coming out. (yes, and preordered!) David Lebovitz dessert book looks so good, Dorie Greenspan (HUGE fan of everything she does) and Lindsey Traumuta wrote a food guide to Paris with Eater. Plus, Kristen Harmel has a new book coming out, and I love everything she does. The long list that is coming to my doorstep. Preordering books is so important and helps support the authors we LOVE.

Two beauty products I tested and loved this week include this Le Prunier mask (for exfoliation). It is purple, and that is part of the fun. I cleansed and used it before bed, and my skin loved it and felt smoother. This Corpus body scrub came as a little extra sample in an order. My skin has been dry with the weather, so I used it as an opportunity to try it. I loved it, and now I want to place an order.
