Links I Love Week 15: Year 2025

Happy Easter to all those who celebrate! I hope you are having a great weekend with family and friends. My family spent the week with me in Chicago. It was my niece and nephew’s spring break. I loved having them in our home. We stayed up late watching movies, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Mufasa.” I bought a membership to the Art Museum and took them to some of my favorite exhibits, and saw the French Impressionist and the miniature room. It was so fun having the family in Chicago, and the house is so quiet without everyone.

For Mother’s Day, I hired Yulia to take family photos as a gift to my mom and sister. I look forward to seeing the sweet photos and sharing them with my family. The last time we did family photos was our wedding, and that was a bit more chaotic and formal. I just wanted photos to frame, share, and pass on in our family. I wore this sweater, sneakers, and jeans for our shoot.

I ordered the Skylight to help keep my husband and me organized! Initially, I had my eye on Apple, hoping they would release something similar. My neighbor recommended this, and I’m eager to try it out. I got the 10”. (*update 2 weeks in and I love it)

Big bangle bracelets are everywhere this spring. I love this trend and have a few pieces in my Sézane collection that I’m styling into my outfits.

I made this strawberry and cream cake for Passover/my birthday. Instead of making it two layers, I divided it into two and served it over two nights. One of my favorite parts of my niece and nephew’s visit this week was when we realized there was one piece of food left in the fridge. My niece grabbed three forks and brought them to share one last bite. To say the cake was a hit is an understatement.
