Links I Love: Week 14

Spring Montmartre Paris

This week, I launched the presale of my first book, Paris Every Day. Thank you so much for all your support and kind words. This is truly a dream come true and I cannot wait for you to hold it and be transported to Paris season by season. You can still place your preorder now, and it will arrive in mid-October.

I also hinted at another project I have been working on. The Print Shop is getting a new look! My team in Australia will hit the go button early this week. I will let you know when it is live so you can see all the beautiful changes. This will make shopping for my photography easier and a lot more fun.

On Friday, I had my yearly skin check. I have started scheduling it as I leave for the following year, just like my mammogram. If you have not had your skin checked recently, take this as a friendly reminder to get that booked. I have an excellent dermatologist recommendation if you are in Chicago, and I am happy to share it. Everything was clear, and I made sure to ask lots of questions about skincare.

I was influenced to buy this eye cream from another blogger and signed up for the waitlist because it was sold out. Unexpectedly, I found it at Sephora and felt like I had hit the jackpot. It arrives April 9th, and I hope it is everything and more.

I love this eye mask and use it frequently. This is the first big area I see signs of aging, and I want to address these lines ASAP.

Here are a few of my favorite Tuckernuck new arrivals: this gingham dress, this white dress with a belt, and this skirt. Easter, Mother’s Day, and graduation parties are just around the corner.

GAP is on the verge of a renaissance. Make sure you have them on your radar.

Sundays are made for croissants. A reader sent me these adorable pajamas from Anthropologie, and I am adding them to my wish list. My neighbors would get a kick out of this croissant doormat. These sheets would be such a fun addition to a guest room. Dreaming of coffee and croissants.

My husband and I got into watching Paradise on Hulu. I got hooked quickly, and while it isn’t my usual type of show, I need to know what happens. Have you watched it? I need to know if anyone else has so I can discuss it.

I gushed about these sandals a few weeks ago and ordered them. My sister-in-law did, too. The color is perfection. I wear a size 8. If you need more convincing, you can see me wearing them here. They are comfortable, and chocolate brown is hot right now.

Last year, I got my first pair of readers. I haven’t had to use them much until recently. I popped into our local Warby Parker and picked up a new pair so I have one at my desk and one in my bag. Also, these sunglasses were too fun not to also grab.

Shelby sent this Paris hat for $15, a look for less at Target than the Anthropologie option. So cute!

My birthday happens to fall on Passover this year. When I was younger, my grandma and I would celebrate with a sponge cake with whipped cream and strawberries. I have been thinking a lot about her and this cake. My friend and book publisher Brian Hart Hoffman took on the challenge of recreating the recipe. He hosts a very popular Baking School with William Sonoma and will be teaching the recipe on Monday. You can bake along and learn the recipe to make for your own Passover or Easter celebration this April.

The Blue Mercury sale is on! Save 20% on orders over $200. This includes Diptyque. Sisley is also included! Their mascara and my favorite eyeliner are 20% off. This cream from UBeauty has been a hero this winter. I love it and use it at night when I feel extra tight from dryness.

I put all my favorites from the sale into this post to make shopping easy!

  1. Can you please advise details of the Paris apartment in the photos?
    (Looks like Montmatre to me)
    Merci

  2. Hi Rebecca!
I watched the Paradise series and loved it! Im sad it didn’t make more seasons but it was created and aired around the exact same time as Mr Selfridge & they had more people were watching that show than the paradise and it so it got canceled.
I’m jealous of all your travels because I haven’t been able to be back in Paris since I saw you at the dinner in April 2022.
I’ll have to pre-order your book! Congratulations!

    • Hi Carol,

Thank you so much! I hope you love the book. It looks like they just announced Season 2 got picked up for Paradise. I cannot wait to know what happens next.

  3. Thank you for sharing your favorites! I bought a Merit lip gloss and loved it so much I bought 3 more!! 🙂
