How to Frenchify Your Entry

how to frenchify your entry everyday Parisian

This post comes with perfect timing as I am moving this week. (my above space is my current soon to be old apartment) scroll down to see the NEW space! Paris apartments are SMALL and so is my apartment. I could have easily left this space completely empty but I wanted to add a little function to the space. I picked up the small entry table at Homegoods and added a marble slab to the top from Crate and Barrel which fit perfectly on top. There is a framed Paris map in the entry which I replaced with a mirror later. I also picked up these hooks as an easy way to throw my coats and bags on.

The first part of the new space I put together was the entry way. It still has some tweaking to do. I need to figure out the baskets in the bottom and a rug but the antique piece and mirror are staying. The cabinet was from my childhood home that I have brought from place to place over the years in Chicago. The mirror was put together from an antique frame at the Randolph Antique Market and I had a local frame store put in the mirror. I added a catch all for my keys and a Diptqyue candle to make the space feel more like home.

The new entry space isnā€™t finished yet but I am looking forward to adding some of the elements below to give it a French flair.
