This week had highs and lows. I made my first Thanksgiving away from my family, something I never thought would happen. My mom walked me through turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce over Facetime and I have to say, it turned out great! My niece figured out how to call me on her own from my sister’s phone and add my dad so we had some good long Facetime chats. I am working on my family list of gifts this week and getting my holiday shopping done early. As a small business owner, I know how important these next few weeks are. You can see my small business guide here.
If you have been watching The Undoing with me, the last episode is Sunday night. Any thoughts on the killer?
Either this is new, or I have been hiding under a rock. Repetto is now available on Zappos. These shoes are investments but I got a pair when I lived in Paris for my birthday and they are so French. Just be warned, they are not for walking miles.
The easiest way to open a pomegranate. This always challenges me but I have been cooking with them more and more.
JCrew just upped their holiday sale with an additional 10% off the original 50%.
My dad is the hardest to shop for around the holidays, this is what he requested which makes shopping this year a little bit easier.
I sent my mom this last year and it was her favorite gift. She asked for another one for 2021. I come from a family filled with gratitude.
A look at the December collection from Sézane. They never disappoint
These chocolate croissants you can make at home and they are so close to the real thing.
Speaking of croissants, I just saw this new candle coming out that smells like a boulangerie. Here is to wishing this is the truth.
Last week, I purchased these from Madewell. I had a long 2-hour chat to get my email up and running and noticed a hole in my jeans. It was a pretty funny moment. Luckily, I didn’t go out in them.
