Links I Love Week 45

It has been a challenging week, full of ups, and downs. There has been one BIG highlight and that is my niece Emma (age 7) and I am emailing daily. It is a way for her to work on her sentence skills and we can keep in touch. This makes me so happy! I screenshot them and share with the family. I can’t wait for our relationship to grow as she gets older. I also sent her and Bobby (age 4) a leaf box from Chicago. They live in Florida and they will get a touch of Fall with this box. Included were three boxes of homemade cookies.

Self-care has been on the top of my list this week and I hope you are taking some time for yourself. I made my first Bundt cake in years. Lemon Blueberry from this book and I have been nibbling away at it all week. I had enough to share with friends and neighbors. I worked on some home projects and finally finished my Black and White gallery wall.

This Humans of New York post gave me goosebumps. It is a short but good read.
