This week, I attended a cooking class at the Alliance Française. We made Baba au Rhum cake which was a lot of fun. This was my first activity at the Alliance since becoming a member last year. I am looking into trying classes here. Has anyone taken class at a local Alliance Française?

  1. Hello! Thank you so much for sharing that Eric Kayser is coming to DC! The bakery was so close to our hotel, so my friend and I often picked up breakfast there and brought it to a bench in the courtyard of the Louvre on our April 2014 trip. Such lovely memories… It’s where I got her hooked on pain aux raisins and where I satisfied my cravings for pain au chocolat. I just sent her the link. We both enjoy visiting nearby DC, especially for the cherry blossoms, so I could see us going. You made me so happy! Again, merci beaucoup!
