A Walk through Place Dauphine

Place Dauphine is located on île de la cité just behind Notre Dame. It is one of the two tiny islands in the center of the city. Place Dauphine is small but adorable and one of my favorite places in Paris. It is easy to overlook when you are crossing the Seine but well worth the visit. I stayed in a Paris Perfect apartment at Place Dauphine a few years ago and I loved waking up with the view of the rooftops and top of Notre Dame from my balcony.

In the Spring, the square is filled with pink chestnut blossoms and it is so dreamy to walk through.

  1. Thank you for sharing these wonderful walks. Your photographs are hanging in our master bath and I just ordered 4 more to add to the gallery. We love seeing them every morning. We can not wait to return to one of our favorite cities.

    • Thank you so much, Jo!! I am honored to be a part of your home. I hope you are well and healthy. Paris is waiting for you.

      Keep in touch,
      Rebecca

  2. So pretty! I went there based on your suggestions last month. Unfortunately, no blooms or leaves yet. I think it is probably a lot prettier in late spring/summer.

    • Hi Naomi,

The blooms usually happen late April for chestnut blossoms. I hope you get the chance to get back again and experience Paris in bloom next year.

      xo
