My friend Ashley hosted an event at Coach for their new Fall Collection which was the perfect opportunity to break out my Coach over the knee boots for the occasion. They didn’t make them this year, but here are a few similar options. I saw these all over the streets of Paris last Fall so I know the trend is still going strong.
I love to cook and bake when the weather gets colder. Sur La Table is running their Anniversary Sale. A perfect time to stock up on some kitchen staples. These are some of my favorites, some I have at home already and others I would like to purchase during the sale.
How to find a good baguette in Paris according to David Lebovitz. There is a difference between classic and traditional. I always recommend the traditional which may be .10 more but well worth it.
I am already thinking about the holidays with the kids. Each year, I buy my niece and nephew a cookie-cutter. I may have to add to their collection with this French-themed set. They may not love Paris as much as I do, but they do love their cookies.
One of my favorite cafés in Paris ended up in The Washington Post. My guy Didier has quotes and everything. Note, we are FB friends and I am a little disappointed I didn’t make the article 😉
I love Dorrie Greenspan and this article about her mom and baked apples is just the sweetest. Do you have a favorite memory tied to food?
Maison Kitsuné debuts their first restaurant. Located very close to their Palais Royal location. The restaurant will be open from 8:30 am – midnight. This is a great addition to the neighborhood since there are very few restaurants that stay open that late. Most close by 10pm. I will have to check it out in November for the report on the food. It just opened September 23.
