Links I Love Week 51

links I love Paris

Happy Holidays! I am winding down a bit for the year. Yulia came over to shoot while I made cookie boxes on Friday. This is a tradition I do every year and I drop cookies to neighbors, friends, and a big box to my family in Florida. Henri was on quality control duty and watching the oven. I still need to share recipes with you all in a post.

My husband and I are off for some time away together to celebrate our second anniversary and then we will see family in Florida. I plan on napping, reading, and eating well.

There will be a special Links next Sunday with a roundup of all the top articles you loved the most this year!

Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love.

The Frenchest hair trend of all. Would you try it?

I got an end-of-the-year mani/pedi and went with Perfectly Plaid Dazzle Dry. At my hotel, the staff (French women) were all wearing dark red nails. I had a soft pink on and immediately regretted it.

The oldest restaurants in the world, from Berlin to Boston

I love the SkinCeuticals Ptiox for glowy skin. I picked it up in Paris in September and finished my first bottle. Right now, it is 15% off at Dermstore.  I ordered a new bottle I loved it so much. Literally down to the last drop.

A few trends from Paris I spotted this December. Boots are hot! Block heels are trending. I love these and these from Sarah Flint

Also, Sarah Flint has some great sale pieces right now including these flats with the code EXTRA they are $127!

Parisians are wearing wide legged jeans and cropped versions and Levi’s are everywhere.

Also, my favorite trend was a black riding boot with tights and a long dark wrap coat. It was on repeat and I am trying to find a good option for boots. I fell in love with a pair in the window but need to try them on in Paris and see if they are comfortable. Options for boots available now to copy this hot look are below!

The biggest wellness trends of 2025. I am game for silent travel and sleep!

  1. I appreciate the article on eating alone. A couple times a year I take a total day off for myself and do whatever my little heart desires including eating a fabulous lunch or dinner at restaurants of my choosing. I’ve always gotten outstanding service (the servers seem to appreciate an easy table!) and I always tip them very well. Especially welcome after the hectic holiday season!!

    • It’s the best! I am so happy you enjoy it too. Not everyone appreciates it the same. I hope you have had a great holiday break and have enjoyed a good solo meal somewhere fun! xo
